There is no other place on earth where all of your wedding dreams can come true like Tuscany. Besides the amazing countryside, ancient castles and distinctive wine, there is a special sprinkle of fairy dust that creates an atmosphere where wishes and dreams manifest into reality. The venue, Castle Vincigliata, built during the first half of the 10th century, along with its parapets, legend as protector of true love, stone walls, and magnificent gardens, has a mythical quality that transforms into the perfect backdrop for a fairytale wedding.

Enter the bride and groom, Stephanie and Rayan, an American couple who met in Florence six years ago. It took an ocean, an adventurous spirit and the unassuming charm of Florence to unite this special couple. The perfect beginning to a love story!

Stephanie is a foodie at heart and so her passion for gastronomic delights meant that her menu choice was to be sublime and a focal point of their celebration. Rayan is reserved with a refined edge and so, special touches were taken to honor these unique aspects of each of them as individuals and as a couple.

The ceremony was held in a private church, Chiesa di San Martino in Maiano, in the Catholic tradition. The bride’s parents were born in Italy and so this church and the traditional Roman Catholic wedding ceremony held a special significance for the family.

We had the opportunity to really get to know the bride and groom as they came to Florence four months before the ceremony to meet suppliers. They worked together as a team to create their perfect day along with the helping hand of the mother of the bride. What a fantastic family!

The Bride’s stunningly elegant gown with sweetheart neckline and tulle skirt was perfectly complimented by the Bridesmaids’ off the shoulder dresses in soft blush.

Flag Bearers: This was a special surprise gift for Rayan from Stephanie. Rayan lived in Florence for many years and so its Renaissance history and heraldry has a special place in his heart. At the other end of the corridor of flags is the spectacular garden where the couple entered triumphantly!

The floral decorations were composed of roses and peonies in vintage inspired shades of pale pink blush. W onderful roses wound around the golden candelabras giving the feel trellis roses growing wild on castle walls.

cigar bar

On the rooftop terrace overlooking the Renascence city of Florence along the gallery of the courtyard, a Cigar Corner was set up for the gentlemen to relax after the wedding banquet.

It was a real pleasure to work with Stephanie and Rayan as they were always joyful and enthusiastic in every step of planning they special day and the commencement of their life together.
