A sweet Australian wedding in San Gimignano
Two beautiful Australian guys accompanied by their 5 years old kid.
Very sweet and in love. Among the various locations I had suggested them to celebrate their magical day, they chose the historic town of San Gimignano.
Many exchanges of emails and skype calls, and you already knew what kind of couple they were…
It was of the first real summer days, boiling hot. As I met them, I was impressed by the beauty of all them three!! Alex, Simon and their kid! After a few minutes that we were talking Alex told me they were expecting another child… how sweet!
Thank God I had fixed the civil ceremony in the late afternoon, or it would have been too hot for her and the kid.
this enchanting couple struck me with their great love, which shone through everything they said and their expressions. It was really easy to see and very emotional for me.
Since the beginning they wanted everything to be simple, they don’t love flaunts and too much confusion, but they wish a genuine and intimate ceremony and it’s been so, everything has been organized to make their wish come true.
The ceremony was held in the 15th century courtyard of the town hall, decorated with suggestive frescoes.
After the ceremony, simple but nice, where also the assessor thanked them for choosing San Gimignano to celebrate their wedding, there was a feeling among us so nice that we decided to toast together to their union in a beautiful café in Piazza della Cisterna. One of the most beautiful squares of San Gimignano
The intimate wedding dinner took place in a restaurant in the centre with a panoramic view on the Siena hills, enjoying typical dishes and wine of Tuscan tradition.
It has been a simple but so sweet wedding that I think will be impressed in my heart and memory..
Although the couple was very enthusiastic about their experience and for the wedding planner’s assistance (that would be me). Enchanted by the beauty of Tuscany and its tastes, its flavour and the romantic atmosphere full of history… they could not choose to getting married a better location than San Gimignano that represent them in their love and in their union.
