Alison & Greg: Three-Day Tuscan Dream Wedding

Alison and Greg decided to have a three-day event wedding full of love and laughter for friends and family. Together, we organized each day to be intimate, special and full of memories for all. The weekend started with a nice welcome dinner at the former Benedictine monastery, Sant’Anna in Camprena. The building, constructed in the 15th century, is located amid the breathtaking countryside of the Val d’Orcia valley. The couple and guests sat in the courtyard of the old structure where a talented folk trio sang traditional Italian ballads as they enjoyed their meal. By the end of the evening, everyone was on their feet dancing—Alison and Greg were thrilled!

On day two, everyone headed to a beautiful Winery in Val d’Orcia, where they took a tour of the vineyard and the wine cellars before sitting down to a typical Tuscan feast with local wine and food.

As a perfect start to the wedding day, Alison organized a yoga class for all the guests among the olive trees on the monastery grounds. In addition, Greg organized a Vespa tour for the groomsmen which added a touch of fun and exhilaration to the festivities.

The wedding day could not have been more magical. It was a beautiful June day with the sun shining brightly with a sense of love in the air. The bride and groom we excited to begin this new chapter of their life with their loved ones.

The bride and groom chose to hold their nuptials in the abbey church dedicated to Saint Anna on the monastery grounds which is imbued with a sense of spiritual tranquility. The chapel works of art along with beautifully gilded accents that create the perfect intimate setting for a wedding ceremony.

The reception was held in the center of the monastery courtyard surrounded by fruit trees and ancient walls creating the perfect romantic setting. As guests mingled, a jazz band played for the typical Tuscan Aperitivo being served complete with prosecco. For dinner service, two long tables were set near the monastery walls illuminated by romantic strung bare bulbs and elegant yet understated floral centerpieces.

The bride chose a color palette of pale blue, pink, yellow, and green. These colors combined perfectly in the garland of flowers and leaves that stretched along tables.
