A charming village in Val di Chiana

Nestled in the hills on the border of Chianti, among the Crete Senesi and the Val di Chiana, this small village is an absolute delight. A forest of 500 surrounds around in a cool embrace the village, structured on circular base and crossed by narrow streets on which there are small gardens and the houses of the village overlook, now used to the host the guests. Walking along the pathways of the castle, breathing the air perfumed by an uncontaminated nature, taking refuge in the silence that surrounds the village as a cloak will make you take a step back in time to the years in which Dante made these walls his refuge during the first days of exile, or in those, later, when people worked so hard the surrounding land and tasted its fruits.

Once uttered the fateful “Yes”, the large pool just outside the walls of the castle will be the perfect setting for the aperitif, but also the winter garden can give suggestions and nuances of rare beauty. For dinner, the village has a restaurant near the pool, where a panoramic window overlooking the woods, the elegant chandeliers hanging from the beams and the old stone walls will be the class details that will transform your banquet in a unforgettable moment in which to let go to the delights of authentic Tuscan cuisine and the nectar of the wines that have made this land famous in the world.
